Abstract

This study examines the impact of corporate governance mechanism and corporate social responsibility to financial performance. This study consists of four independent variables, one mediating variable, and three dependent variables, namely the proportion of independent board of commissioners, institutional ownership, audit committee, and corporate social responsibility as an independent variabel, earnings management as a mediating variable, and ROA, EPS, and Tobin;s Q as the dependent variable. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The sample in this study are 19 manufacturing company which listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 until 2019 who selected through purposive sampling method. The result of this study are the proportion of independent board of commissioners and institutional ownership not significant negative effect on earnings management, the audit committee has a significant positive effect on earnings management, corporate social responsibility has no significant positive effect on earnings management, corporate governance mechanisms do not have a significant negative effect on ROA, the proportion of independent commissioners and institutional ownership did not have a significant negative effect on EPS, the audit committee did not have a significant positive effect on EPS, corporate governance mechanisms did not have a significant positive effect on Tobin's Q, corporate social responsibility did not have a significant negative effect on financial performance, earnings management does not have a significant negative effect on ROA, earnings management has a significant negative effect on Tobin's Q, earnings management does not have a significant positive effect mut on EPS, governance mechanisms per business have a positive effect on ROA and EPS mediated by earnings management, corporate governance mechanisms negatively affect Tobin's Q mediated by earnings management, and corporate social responsibility has a positive effect on mediated financial performance by earnings management.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Mekanisme Tata Kelola Perusahaan dan Tanggung Jawab Sosial Perusahaan terhadap Kinerja Perusahaan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari empat variabel independen, satu variabel mediasi, dan tiga variabel dependen, yaitu proporsi dewan komisaris independen, kepemilikan institusional, komite audit, dan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan sebagai variabel independen, manajemen laba sebagai variabel mediasi, dan ROA, EPS, dan Tobin’s Q sebagai variabel dependen. Metode riset yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 19 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dari 2017 sampai 2019 yang ditentukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah proporsi dewan komisaris independen dan kepemilikan institusional berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap manajemen laba, komite audit berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap manajemen laba, tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap manajemen laba, Mekanisme tata kelola perusahaan berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap ROA, proporsi dewan komisaris independen dan kepemilikan institusional berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap EPS, komite audit berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap EPS, mekanisme tata kelola perusahaan berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap Tobin’s Q, tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan, manajemen laba berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap ROA, manajemen laba berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap Tobin’s Q, manajemen laba berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap EPS, mekanisme tata kelola perusahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap ROA dan EPS dimediasi oleh manajemen laba, mekanisme tata kelola perusahaan berpengaruh negatif terhadap Tobin’s Q dimediasi oleh manajemen laba, dan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja keuangan dimediasi oleh manajemen laba.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial competence on the performance of culinary micro and small businesses in West Jakarta. This study took a sample of 75 companies and tested using SmartPLS 3.0. This study can explain that market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, and entrepreneurial competence have a significant influence on business performance. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh dari orientasi pasar, orientasi kewirausahaan dan kompetensi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja usaha mikro kecil dan menengah kuliner di Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel sebanyak 75 perusahaan dan diuji menggunakan SmartPLS 3.0. Penelitian ini dapat menjelaskan bahwa orientasi pasar, orientasi kewirausahaan, dan kompetensi kewirausahaan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja usaha

Abstract

The fast growing internet has resulted in competitive businesses, namely providing opportunities and challenges for various businesses. One of these business opportunities is to do business online. Online transaction systems require customers to buy and make payments for products and services using internet platforms such as social media. The purpose of this study was to study the effect of customer satisfaction, perceived value, and trust in online repuchase intentions on Instagram. Data was collected by survey questionnaire. This study collected 115 valid responses from Instagram users who must have made an online purchase before at least once. SmartPLS 3.0 is used for approved approved studies. The results show that (1) There is a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction with online repurchase intentions. (2) There is a significant positive effect of perceived value on online repurchase intentions. (3) There is a significant positive effect of trust on online repurchase intentions. Internet yang cepat berkembang telah menciptakan bisnis yang kompetitif, yaitu memberikan peluang dan tantangan untuk berbagai bisnis. Salah satu peluang bisnis ini adalah dengan melakukan bisnis online. Sistem transaksi online meminta pelanggan untuk membeli dan melakukan pembayaran untuk produk dan layanan menggunakan platform internet seperti sosial media. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh customer satisfaction, perceived value, dan trust terhadap online repuchase intention pada fashion di Instagram. Data dikumpulkan dengan membagikan kuesioner survei. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan 115 tanggapan valid dari pengguna Instagram yang pasti pernah melakukan pembelian online sebelumnya minimal satu kali. SmartPLS 3.0 digunakan untuk memverifikasi kerangka penelitian. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan customer satisfaction terhadap online repurchase intention. (2) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan perceived value terhadap online repurchase intention. (3) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan trust terhadap online repurchase intention.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the impact of current ratio, total assets and total assets turnover towards profitability for the consumer goods manufacturers that were listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the year 2015-2019. This particular research took 27 samples by using purposive sampling where all the data were obtained from the official Indonesia stock exchange sites; www.idx.co.id dan www.idnfinancial.com. Additionally, the data management also utilizes Eviews 9 as well. The results of this research show that debt to total assets have a positive significant impact on return on equity (ROE). On the other hand, Current ratio has a positive impact but, it did not significantly impact the return on equity (ROE). Meanwhile, the total assets turnover has a negative impact, but it also did not significantly impact the return on equity (ROE).Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan antara lain untuk mengetahui pengaruh current ratio, debt to total assets, dan total assets turnover terhadap profitability pada perusahaan manufaktur sektor consumer goods yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2015- 2019. Pada penelitian ini sampel terdiri dari 27 sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dimana data diperoleh dari situs resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia yakni www.idx.co.id dan www.idnfinancial.com. Pengelolaan data menggunakan Eviews 9. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa debt to total assets memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap return on equity (ROE). Current ratio memiliki pengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap return on equity (ROE). Sedangkan total assets turnover memiliki pengaruh yang negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap return on equity (ROE).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of demographic characteristics and financial literacy on behavioral biases and investment decisions of stock investors, as well as to determine the influence of behavioral biases on investment decisions and the role of behavioral biases in mediating demographic characteristics and financial literacy on investment decisions of stock investors. The research design used in this research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This study uses a nonprobability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. The data collection method used a questionnaire and obtained a sample of 103 respondents. The data analysis technique in this research is Partial Least Square, using SmartPLS software. The results showed that demographic characteristics, financial literacy and behavioral biases can influence investment decisions in stock investors. Behavioral biases cannot be influenced by demographic characteristics, whereas financial literacy can influence behavioral biases in investors. Besides, behavioral biases cannot mediate the influence of demographic characteristics on investment decisions indirectly, but behavioral biases can partially mediate the influence of financial literacy on investment decisions.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik demografis dan literasi keuangan terhadap behavioral biases dan keputusan investasi pada investor saham, serta mengetahui pengaruh behavioral biases terhadap keputusan investasi dan peran behavioral biases dalam memediasi karakteristik demografis dan literasi keuangan terhadap keputusan investasi investor saham. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode nonprobability sampling yaitu purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan diperoleh sampel berjumlah 103 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square, dengan sotfware SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik demografis, literasi keuangan dan behavioral biases dapat mempengaruhi keputusan investasi pada investor saham. Behavioral biases tidak dapat dipengaruhi oleh karakterstik demografis, sedangkan literasi keuangan dapat mempengaruhi behavioral biases pada investor. Selain itu, behavioral biases tidak dapat memediasi pengaruh karakteristik demografis terhadap keputusan investasi secara tidak langsung, sedangkan behavioral biases dapat memediasi pengaruh literasi keuangan terhadap keputusan investasi secara sebagian (partial mediation).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to empirically examine the relationship between Entrepreneurship Education and Self-Efficacy towards Entrepreneurial Intention of Students Universitas Tarumanagara.  The population of this research is 150 respondents of Students on Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Tarumanagara. Data are collected by using Google Form questionnaire then processed by using SmartPLS-SEM program. The method used in this research was non probability sampling with judgemental sampling tecnhnique. The results of this research are Entrepreneurship Education has a significant effect on Entreprenurial Intention. Self Efficacy has a significant effect on Entrepreneurial Intention.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empiris hubungan pendidikan kewirausahaan dan efikasi diri terhadap intensi wirausaha Mahasiswa Universitas Tarumanaga. Populasi dari penelitian ini sebesar 150 responden yang merupakan Mahasiswa/I Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Tarumangara. Teknik penggumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuisioner melalui Google Form dan kemudian diolah menggunakan program SmartPLS-SEM. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah non probability sampling dengan teknik judgemental sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap intensi wirausaha. Efikasi diri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap intensi wirausaha.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the effect of capital structure, profitability, activity ratio (TATO) on the value of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study was analyzed using a panel data regression tool with 21 companies in the 2014-2019 period, producing 126 data observation. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. The data used in the form of secondary data, namely financial statements. Data processing using the application e-views 11. The results of this study indicate that profitability and activity ratios (TATO) significantly influence the value of the company. However, capital structure has no significant effect on firm value.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh struktur modal, profitabilitas, rasio aktivitas (TATO) terhadap nilai perusahaan yang terdaftar pada Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI).Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan alat regresi data panel dengan 21 perusahaan pada periode 2014-2019, menghasilkan 126 data observasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purpossive sampling. Data yang digunakan berupa data sekunder yaitu laporan keuangan.Pengolahan data menggunakan aplikasi e-views 11. Tetapi, struktur modal berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

this study aims to determine the influence of perceived organizational support on turnover intention through job satisfaction as mediating variable both indirectly or directly. The sample in this study were 75 employees of PT. Bank MNC at Jakarta Pusat, whom the majority are sales divition, a minimum sample is determine by using Hair’s formula which are the indicators times with five. The analysis method used is SmartPLS 3.2.8 resulting in Perceived Organizational Support has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a negative and not significant effect on turnover intention. Perceived organizational support has a negative and not significant effect on turnover intention. And perceived organizational support has a negative and not significant effect on turnover intention through job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine whether: 1) self-confidence can affect entrepreneurial intention, 2) educational support can affect entrepreneurial intention, 3) relational support can affect entrepreneurial intention. Sample was selected using nonprobability sampling method amounted to 86 respondents of university students in Tarumanagara University. Data were measured by Likert scale and analyzed with processing techniques using SmartPLS 3.0 program. The result of this study shows that 1) self confidence positively had affect on entrepreneurial intention, 2) education support positively had affect on entrepreneurial intention and, 3) relational support had affect on entrepreneurial intention. Several recommendations for research are presented based on conclusions and suggestions on the results of this study.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah: 1) kepercayaan diri dapat mempengaruhi intensi berwirausaha, 2) pendidikan dapat mempengaruhi intensi berwirausaha, 3) dukungan relasional dapat mempengaruhi intensi berwirausaha. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dengan jumlah 86 responden mahasiswa di Universitas Tarumanagara. Data diukur dengan skala Likert dan dianalisis dengan teknik proses yang menggunakan program SmartPLS 3.0. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) kepercayaan diri berpengaruh positif terhadap intensi berwirausaha, 2) pendidikan berpengaruh positif terhadap intensi berwirausaha, dan 3) dukungan relasional berpengaruh positif terhadap intensi berwirausaha. Beberapa rekomendasi untuk penelitian disajikan berdasarkan kesimpulan dan saran mengenai hasil penelitian ini.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine 1) whether perceived quality affects the purchase intention of luxury brand consumers in generation Y. 2) whether social influence influences affect purchase intention of luxury brand consumers in generation Y. 3) whether need of uniqueness affect purchase intention of luxury brand consumers in generation Y. The sample used in this study is 40 generation Y consumer respondents who are very aware of the brand. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method. Overall results of this study are 1) Perceived Quality affects the purchase intention of luxury brand consumers in generation Y. 2) Social influence affects purchase intention of luxury brand consumers in generation Y. 3) Need of uniqueness affects purchase intention of luxury brand consumers in generation Y.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui 1) apakah persepsi kualitas berpengaruh terhadap minat pembelian konsumen luxury brand pada generasi Y. 2) apakah pengaruh sosial berpengaruh terhadap minat pembelian konsumen luxury brand pada generasi Y. 3) apakah kebutuhan akan keunikan berpengaruh terhadap minat pembelian konsumen luxury brand pada generasi Y. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu 40 responden konsumen generasi Y yang sangat sadar akan merek. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu non-probability sampling dengan metode pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Secara keseluruhan hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu 1) Persepsi Kualitas berpengaruh terhadap minat pembelian konsumen luxury brand pada generasi Y. 2) Pengaruh Sosial berpengaruh terhadap minat pembelian konsumen luxury brand pada generasi Y. 3) Kebutuhan akan Keunikan berpengaruh terhadap minat pembelian konsumen luxury brand pada generasi Y.
